Wool & Silk Care Instructions
Care & Materials
• 70% Wool, 30% Silk
1. Do Not Spot Clean
- Avoid applying water or products directly to stains, as this may damage the fibers and alter the fabric’s texture.
2. Wash Gently
- Wash sparingly but regularly, always gently.
- Turn the garment inside out.
- Select the wool/silk or delicate programme with cold water.
- Choose a very gentle spin (maximum 300 rpm) or no spin.
- Add a small amount of detergent suitable for wool/silk blends (about the size of an almond).
- Wash separately or with similar delicate items.
- For added protection, place the garment in a pillowcase or laundry bag.
3. Dry Properly
- Lay the garment flat to dry, reshaping while damp.
- Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Never hang to dry and never use a tumble dryer.
Important Note on Texture
- Wool and silk blends may wrinkle lightly. Iron inside out on low heat without steam, using a cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric.
- For garments requiring structure (such as pleated pieces), we recommend professional dry cleaning.
Storage
- Fold garments flat and store in a breathable canvas cover to protect against dust and moths.
Eco Note
Whenever possible, machine wash gently instead of dry cleaning. This reduces chemical use and keeps your wool & silk pieces softer and longer-lasting.
